The Green Build event organised by North Norfolk District Council is held each year at Felbrigg Hall and is a key date on the Ace of Spades Gardens calendar each year. The event gives us the chance to meet with members of the public and for some (as pictured below) the chance to experience climbing up into the canopy of a tree wearing full protective clothing.
It is also an opportunity for people to meet our team and talk to us about their trees, to discuss any concerns they may have and to arrange a free, no obligation visit. Some of the issues raised were concerns over trees potentially falling in high winds, tree protection orders issued by the Council, Ash Die Back and how to manage trees in terms of pruning, pollarding, coppicing and of course whether they should be taken down.
Our MD Mike Barker displayed his passion for trees when he gave a presentation on the subject of 'Trees and Climate Change.
